10 watt solar panels are probably a few watts more than you would need for an RV that has everything shut off, but if you are having issues with dead batteries from lack of use, a 10 watt solar panel may be the answer.
10 Watts of solar may require a charge controller on a small battery bank. This is because 10 watts of solar produces approximately .67 amps of charging. On a 10 hour solar day you would replenish 6.7 Ah back into a RV battery bank. This means if your load is less than 7.0 Ah per day, then get a charge controller to keep the battery from overcharging your RV battery bank. If you are in doubt get a charge controller, the cost of a controller is the less than the price of many RV batteries.
