    12 Volt Inverters

    12 Volt Inverter Questions

I recently had an OutsideSupply.com customer contact me with a few question on 12 Volt Inverters.

Below you will find the inverter questions and answers:

Question: Why does my inverter cut out when my battery is low.

Most inverters have a low voltage shut off feature that protects the inverter and attached devices. This way the inverter does not cause low voltage issue in the attached devices. This would be similar to a brown out situation in the power grid. low voltage can really mess with electronics.

Question: My 300 watt 12 volt inverter has been making noise in the fan area, can I get it repaired? It is not under warranty.

Most of the time you could get your inverter repaired, but it would cost more than a new 12 volt inverter. My suggestion check out our inverters and buy a replacement.
