    Car Power Inverter

I had a question from an Outside Supply customer today with regards to using her power inverter in her car. She has our 150 Watt True Sine Wave Power Inverter by Go Power!.

She wants to know if she can use the inverter to charge her laptop as she drives to work in the morning. You see she works late at night and her laptop battery is often depleted by the time she goes to sleep. She has a one hour commute and would like to take advantage of the charging time. She has had times where she had no power for her early morning meeting as their conference rooms have no power outlets for laptops.

I advised her that the power inverter she bought from us will perfectly fit as a solution to her problem. It will cleanly and effectively charge a laptop in her car. The power inverter can be plugged directly into the car cigarette lighter socket and charging can begin once she plugs the charger in.

While there may or may not be enough time to fully charge her laptop, there will be enough time to probably get her through the meeting. I also added that laptops usually charge much faster when not in use. Since she will not actually be using her laptop while driving her car, she can take advantage of this faster charge.

Remember never use your power inverter to power any device for use that can interfere with safe operation of your vehicle. It is unsafe to try and drive and use distracting electronics in the vehicle.
