I got a call to Outside Supply a few weeks back from a gentleman that was interested in adding an inverter in his tour bus that would allow for a small workstation area he had created near the back of his bus. The workstation area had enough room for 4 customers / tourist to use their laptops to email and take pictures off. He was using a wireless connection that he had routed out over a switch. He wanted clean stable power for the customers computers and his networking equipment. The bus operated at 12 volts DC. So the decision was a no brain-er.
We felt that each laptop may pull at most 200 watts. We also determined his other equipment may pull up to 300 watts. So we decided on the Go Power 1500 Sine Wave Power Inverter. This Power Inverter was large enough to handle the load. It produced clean reliable power and had a great remote switch.
His customers are now charging, unloading pictures, and communicating with the rest of the world.
