    Emergency Back Up Power Inverter

    Need power in an emergency? How about a disaster?

    OutsideSupply.com knows all too well how important backup power inverters are. In an emergency or a disaster, a power inverter can provide your link to to the outside world. It is scary when you realize that phones, computers, televisions, radios and other devices stop working when the power goes out. For 5 minutes we can all get by. What about when the power is out for weeks?

    One suggestion is have a power inverter for back up power in case of an emergency. It really doesn't take much to have an inverter prepared to go when you need it.

    1. Buy an inverter large enough to suit your needs.

    2. Get batteries or plan on using your vehicle to run inverter.

    3. Be able to charge batteries with solar panels or by using your vehicle.
    4. Keep your usage to essentials only. This will eliminate the need for many batteries and many solar panels.

    5. Make a list of emergency loads. This will help you figure outs step one on purchasing an inverter.

    6. Make sure you have proper install kits and wiring to safely operate your power inverter.

    7. NEVER EVER RUN A GENERATOR INDOORS OR NEAR AIR INTAKES IN YOUR HOME. THIS IS NOT REALLY REALTED BUT PEOPLE DIE EVERY TIME THERE IS AN EMERGENCY BECAUSE THE GENERATOR THEY RAN INDOORS PRODUCED CARBON MONOXIDE AND THEY DIED. NEEDLESSLY.

Power Inverters are not designed for Life Support Applications!
