Power Inverter produces reliable power during the Parades.
This year we went to several parades. We took along our 1500 watt power inverter that is installed in my Jetta TDI. We pulled up to the parade route and got ready to enjoy Mardi Gras for all it's worth. Now I just want everyone to know there are two kinds of Mardi Gras, a family oriented Mardi Gras and the the not so family oriented one.
We went to the family oriented one and brought our family along for the party. Along for the ride was a panini grill and a crock pot. We also brought out a stereo to tailgate in style. The Panini grill has a really big load, but we would only use it for a few minutes. The crock pot was not so big, but would run for a while.
We pulled into the parking lot and began to set up our table. We had the crock pot already warm and full of great homemade chili. I pulled out our pack of 1/4 lb hot dogs an began to cook them on our panini grill. Since the grill had a really big load, I started up my Jetta TDI to help compensate for the load. It took about 10 minutes total to cook the half dozen hot dogs. We then hooked up the stereo sat back and enjoyed some really awesome hot dogs before walking across the street to a wonderful Mardi Gras. Below is a video of Mardi Gras in the family area of Metairie.
