    AC Outlets on Power Inverters

How many AC Outlets do you need for your power inverter?

This is a question you definitely want to answer before purchasing a power inverter. This is because the number of outlets vary by model and type of power inverter.

Most inverter have 2 or 3 AC outlets. There are some larger inverters that also have the ability to be hardwired. This allows you to add extra AC outlets using the correct wiring.

Other information on AC outlets to look for is whether or not they are GFCI. This is a safety type of AC outlet that trips when it has Ground Fault. You often see these outlets in Bathrooms or near water. There is usually a test button and a reset button that allows you to test the outlet for proper operation.
