You can backup your home refrigerator with a power inverter!
Using an inverter and a battery bank you can back up your refrigerator. This works by unplugging the refrigerator during a power outage and plugging into to your backup power inverter. There are also ways to make it automatic using an auto transfer switch and an inverter charger.
The power inverter and battery bank is usually the easiest to install but requires manual charging of the batteries and also manual connection to the inverter.
An automatic connection requires a battery charger, transfer switch and a power inverter. It may also require special wiring to get the job done.
